Photos In My House

I recently created and ordered a huge, & by huge, I mean 40" x 60" collage poster of some photos we took last fall. I love it!! I've got it up on my wall but am still trying to figure out how or if I should finish it off with a frame? Do I get a custom made frame? Do I take some casings or corner round or something similar & tack them on the wall? hmmmm decisions.
My boys had a buddy spend the night a few nights ago and he made the comment to me, how I have lots of photos of my family in my house. And yep, I do. I have photos in pretty much every room in my house-yes even the bathroom. I love being surrounded with photos of my kids. Plus I'm hoping it makes them feel special and know how great our family really is! My only wish is for them to know how much they are loved, appreciated, adored, cared for, valued, respected and that no matter what, I'll always feel this way! That family should be able to count on family.
So here are a few of the photos I have throughout my house....

my living room is in need of a facelift. It is the only room in our house that has not been touched except for a quick paint job. It is the next on the list of renos but don't know any timeline.  I don't want to have to move too much stuff when that time comes so bare it'll stay.

I've put this one up before on here but it just makes me smile everytime I pass it in the hallway. They "tried" so hard to keep a straight face!

The photo on the left was taken by paper moon photography about 6 years ago, I thought it'd be kind of cool to do a similar one now and then maybe in 6 years do another when my oldest is ready to graduate!

My New Niece and Her Big Bro

In October, my mom and I went to Australia for 3 weeks to visit my sister and her family. They just had a new baby girl on the 6th so I got to get my baby fix in, while my hubby stayed back and manned the house. And they all survived without Mom being here, don't know what I was so worried about.
Well of course I had to snap a few family photos while I was there...

My brother in law doesn't normally have a full beard but they were going to a costume party a few weeks after we left and he was dressing up as "wolverine" from X-Men. My sister just sent me some photos from that night and he won best costume-he looked great.

CUTIE PATOOTIE

Is this little guy a cutie patootie or what?!! He's already 6 months old - I did his photos when he was only a few weeks old which seems like only yesterday. He was the funniest little guy. I got tons of smiles when the camera wasn't in his face but once that camera came into view he seemed to get totally engrossed with whatever was around him and also seemed to get selective hearing. Little stinker - but thanks mom for bringing him in and the little visit!!

Maternity

Hey everyone! Wow it's been a while since I've put anything on here. Time just seems to be slipping away. I feel like we're running every which direction. One boy STILL playing hockey. Although I really can't complain-I really do love a good hockey game. Unfortunately for my other boys, their ball season is going to be super, super short, thanks to all the rain we've been getting.

Anyways here's some shots from a maternity session I did awhile back and for some reason didn't get them up here. But see what I mean, how expectant mommies are so beautiful?! Congratulations Allison on your beautiful baby girl!

My Little Dancer

This was my little girls' first year in dance and absolutely LOVED it.

Baby Boy

So photographing babies is definitely an occupational hazard for me! I love babies! Give me a baby and I start thinking, "what's one more?" and then in comes my lippy 11 yr old & reality sinks in.
But isn't this guy a super duper cutie?! And such a laid back little guy, just hung out even when mom & I got busy chatting!

Baby #2

I love expectant mommies! They definitely radiate "happy" even when every joint hurts, you can't bend over, you waddle when you walk, you're constantly in the washroom, ahh the days.....
Congratulations guys and best of luck with the delivery.

here are some from a maternity shoot that I did. I know they say that when you're pregnant you're glowing and radiant but this momma has exceptional skin-flawless....just naturally beautiful!
